On last night's Amazing Race (spoiler alert) the football players went from being in the front of the pack to being last. They took a different flight with two lay-overs and both flights were delayed. The last scene of the Amazing Race they are running through the airport and Phil (host) shows up. All the other teams had made it to the Pit Stop. They were eliminated. Phil's closing words were "at least you are at the airport."
The football players turned around and walked back toward the ticket counters. Burn! Ouch!
So, note to self:
Do not take a risk with two connecting flights. We will not put our fate in the airlines hands. If we are at least with one other team, we have a chance to make it and beat them out.
Also,
think twice or three times before separating yourself from the other teams by taking a separate flight.
